CCTNS Hackathon & Cyber Challenge
National Crime Records Bureau(NCRB) is organizing 4th CCTNS Hackathon & Cyber Challenge with an aim to enhance skills and deepen understanding of the police personnel at ground level. It is also an endeavor of NCRB to evolve Innovative ideas and solutions for solving day-to-day challenges faced by police. This is being organized in collaboration with CyberPeace Foundation.

CCTNS Scheme had been conceptualized as a comprehensive and integrated system for enhancing the efficiency and effective policing at all levels and especially at the Police Station level in order to achieve the following key objectives:
Creating Centralized Databases
Creating State and Central levels databases on crime and criminals starting from FIRs.
Sharing Real-time Information
Enable easy sharing of real-time information/ intelligence across police stations, districts and States.
Prevention
Improved investigation and crime prevention.
Citizen Portals
Improved service delivery to the public/ stakeholders through Citizen Portals.

CCTNS Bug Hunting
Inviting innovative minds, secured coders across all segments of civilians and police personnel, to find vulnerabilities and logical flaws in the CCTNS application. Participating teams will be evaluated based on their findings, classified as high/ medium /low on criticality
PHASES OF THE COMPETITION -
Round 1: Interested participants (non-police) will be asked to share their details and their rank holding profile e.g. 'Hacker One' profile, 'Hack the box' profile or any other contribution towards information security management. It is also open to police personnels without any rank holding profile
Participants: Police personnel, cyber security enthusiasts/professionals, students from academic institutions and professionals from tech companies. The participation will be on individual basis.
Grand Finale: After shortlisting by the Screening Committee, top 30 participating individuals will be invited to New Delhi for the final round of the competition and best 3 will be selected for awards

Evaluation Process
Following our founder's remarks, Josephine Leyannou and Bec Lambert from Marriott International's EMEA region will share how they are accelerating people and leadership development with mentoring.
All entries received will be shortlisted in the first round by a screening committee.
After shortlisting by the Screening Committee, top 30 participating individuals will be invited to New Delhi for the final round of the competition and best 3 participants will be selected for awards.

eRaksha Awards for Innovative cybercrime investigative techinques/methods
This track is an invitation to different and latest technology based innovative investigative techniques adopted by the Police personnel over the period of time to combat cybercrimes more effectively. In order to better understand the on-ground dynamics of cybercrime in the country and boost the research, case studies and SoPs adopted by Police Departments Pan-India are also invited.

Indian Police personnel from States/UTs & CPOs of all ranks.

All entries received will be shortlisted in the first round by a screening committee identified by NCRB & Cyber Peace Foundation.

Identification of New IT Applications for policing for pan-India Rollout
This track of the event is to do a comparative evaluation for analyzing the efficacy of available IT application and identifying for adopting and scaling them for the Pan-India level.
